    Role: Trainee solicitor

    Hours: 9 am to 5.30 pm Mon – Fri (full-time guideline only)

    Location: Hybrid working: 2 days per week at our Holborn office (London WC1), the rest working from home.

    Start date: As soon as possible

    Earnings:  Negotiable, at circa £40 – 50K OTE

    About You

    • Undergraduate UK degree or equivalent in Law
    • Proven interest in employment law and/or access to justice
    • Preferably some previous UK legal work experience
    • This role is not suitable for those candidates who have passed, or are currently undertaking the Legal Practice Course (LPC). This is because we are not a training contract provider, and we are looking to progress successful candidates through the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) Graduate Apprenticeship route (see below).
    • If you are a foreign national you will need settled status or ILR.

    Your Route to Qualification with Monaco Solicitors

    • The SQE Graduate Apprenticeship takes approximately 27 months.
    • You will be working 4 days a week and have one day of ‘protected study’ a week.

    What you can expect

    • Excellent training and development
    • Working in a team of around 10 trainee lawyers
    • Working with a team of around 7 senior lawyers
    • You will quickly be given our own caseload (supervised)
