Time limits
Time limits are short in employment claims (often 3 calendar months less 1 day from the act complained of). In the vast majority of cases, you must complete an Early Acas Notification form within the 3 months less 1-day time limit before making an employment tribunal claim.

Almost a more important question is who is representing you. If you have a specialist employment lawyer representing you this can be more important than having a legally perfect case.
Please note that during your consultation we may advise you that you have no legal case. This is especially likely if you have worked there for less than 2 years and you have no discrimination, whistleblowing, or health & safety concerns. However you may feel that such advice is still good value for money.
