Understanding Our Team: Solicitors vs. Trainee Solicitors
At Monaco Solicitors, we have a diverse team of legal professionals, each bringing their unique expertise to your case. Here’s what you need to know about our Solicitors and Trainee Solicitors:
Solicitors: Our Solicitors have extensive experience and a proven track record in negotiations and tribunals. They are best suited to handle high complexity and high-value issues. Their expertise ensures that you receive top-tier legal advice and representation.
Trainee Solicitors: Our Trainee Solicitors can advise on the majority of employment law issues. They consistently achieve positive results for their clients. Their work is supervised and approved by our senior lawyers, ensuring you receive high-quality service at a lower rate.
Remember, choosing the right representation can often be more important than having a legally perfect case. Our team is here to guide you through the process and help you make the best decision for your situation.
If you have any further questions, don’t hesitate to contact us. We’re here to help.
Future costs
60% of Case Reviews result in us offering clients a no-win-no-fee, aiming to conclude negotiations successfully and at the highest value.
Please note, we do not offer no win no fee for Employment Tribunal representation.
This tends to work well for both client and lawyer, acting together as a team and is our preferred method of representation, so if at all possible we will offer you this service after your paid consultation.
Time limits
Time limits are short in employment claims (often 3 calendar months less 1 day from the act complained of). In the vast majority of cases, you must complete an Early Acas Notification form within the 3 months less 1-day time limit before making an employment tribunal claim.
Do I have a case
This is a complex question which needs a consultation to answer. We will review your case and let you know during the consultation.
Almost a more important question is who is representing you. If you have a specialist employment lawyer representing you this can be more important than having a legally perfect case.
Please note that during your consultation we may advise you that you have no legal case. This is especially likely if you have worked there for less than 2 years and you have no discrimination, whistleblowing, or health & safety concerns. However you may feel that such advice is still good value for money.
