About Leah Waller

I am passionate about employee rights and ensuring that employees are fairly treated.

Determined in both my career and for my clients; I strive to achieve the best results for my clients and pride myself on excellent client care.

I have experience in dealing with complex negotiations in discrimination and unfair dismissal cases. I have written many articles on employment law and advised both employees and employers on employment and HR issues.

Author of BabySteps: A Guide to Maternity Leave and Maternity Pay, I am keen to ensure new and expectant mothers are aware of their rights within the workplace once notifying their employer of their pregnancy all the way through to their return to work and whilst breastfeeding.

I also write and deliver course content for Central Law Training, specifically in relation to Mental Health and Wellbeing in the Workplace and Maternity, Paternity, Adoption and Shared Parental Leave & Pay.

I enjoy taking on new challenges having completed both the highest civilian abseil in the UK and the highest freefall abseil in the UK as well as recently completing a tandem skydive.

  • Author of BabySteps: A Guide to Maternity Leave and Maternity Pay
  • Successfully negotiating a settlement for an employee facing maternity discrimination, in relation to unpaid bonuses and unfair dismissal against a large corporate company.
  • Negotiating for my client at a quantum herring following my client winning a claim for unfair dismissal and discrimination against a national care provision company.
  • Attending a mediation and resolving a claim for disability discrimination following unfair selection for redundancy after an accident at work causing a disability.
