About Esther Fagbemiro
I am a solicitor with 17 years of post-qualification experience gained in private practice, local authorities, in-house and in my own firm. I have assisted and represented a broad range of clients (individuals and businesses), including scientists, banking and finance executives, IT professionals, oil industry executives, nurses, lecturers, charities and care homes. I have extensive experience of negotiating decent exit terms and packages for individuals under Settlement Agreements, as well as representing clients successfully in Employment Tribunals nationally, including in Scotland and N. Ireland.
I am passionate about employment law because work is so integral to our sense of purpose, self-esteem and our ability to exercise decisions about how we live. Therefore, having experienced, competent and empathetic professional assistance to access and exercise the rights given to individuals by our comprehensive employment laws is crucial.
I have a keen sense of justice and this underpins the service that I offer to clients. According to my clients, I offer pragmatic and sensible solutions and a thorough, empathetic and excellent service. Fellow professionals including Judges comment that I am adept at identifying the relevant legal and factual issues in a case. The benefits of this include cost and time efficiency and a laser focus on a sound strategy to achieve the best outcome for my clients.
I have gained plenty of insight and expertise from practising employment law across three sectors acting for both individuals and organisations/employers from a diverse range of industries. Representing clients in Employment Tribunal hearings all over the country has also been invaluable experience which informs all aspects of my work including the advice and information that I dispense to clients, and the conduct of negotiations.
Most recent cases include:
Assisting a client with successfully negotiating terms of a contract with a major financial intelligence company.
Negotiating an excellent exit package for a client employed in an educational establishment.
Representing a client in Employment Tribunal proceedings against a public transport authority.
Notable cases/Key achievements
