If you have been offered a settlement agreement to terminate your employment, then we can negotiate with your employer on your behalf.

In over 95% of cases in which we are instructed we achieve a significant increase in the overall settlement amount.

We are solicitors who specialise in negotiating with employers

A settlement agreement is a legally binding contract which settles all the claims you may have against your employer and terminates your employment, usually in return for a sum of money know as an ex gratia payment, or termination payment.

If you have been offered a settlement agreement, or an offer has been made to terminate your employment, then don’t accept your employer’s initial offer. It may sound tempting, your employer may try to pressure you into accepting their offer, you may even be facing problems at work and see this offer as a way out of a stressful situation, but do not accept anything until you have spoken to us. We can often achieve two, three or even up to four times the overall settlement amount your employer has initially offered. We have negotiated thousands of settlement agreements and have an enviable success rate in going up against large employers and achieving excellent results. Please read our reviews on reviews.co.uk, google or Yell and read our highly experienced and professional solicitors’ profiles.

We are so confident in our ability to achieve a better settlement for you that we are often able to base our fee solely on the amount we increase your settlement amount by – usually between 10 and 20% depending on circumstances – so there is no financial risk to you.

The negotiation process takes on average between two and three weeks to complete from you contacting us to the new agreement being signed.
